1.3 Google OAuth Data Collection

When you connect your Google account, we request specific OAuth scopes to access your Google Analytics and Google Search Console data. This integration is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent through Google's OAuth authorization flow.

Non-Sensitive Scopes We Request:

  • userinfo.email: To identify your account and send you relevant notifications
  • userinfo.profile: To personalize your experience with your name and profile information
  • openid: To securely authenticate your identity
  • webmasters.readonly: To view your Google Search Console data for verified sites

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your Settings page. This will immediately revoke our access to your Google data.

Why We Request This Data:

We use your Google Analytics and Search Console data exclusively to provide and improve our core application functionality:

  • Holistic Data View: We combine your Google Analytics website traffic data and Search Console search performance data with AI platform visibility metrics to give you a complete picture of your online presence.
  • Actionable Recommendations: By analyzing your Google data alongside AI visibility trends, we provide personalized recommendations to improve your brand's discoverability across both traditional search and AI platforms.
  • Unified Dashboard: All your visibility metrics (website analytics, search performance, and AI mentions) are displayed in one centralized dashboard for easy monitoring and decision-making.

Important: We only request read-only access to your Google data. We cannot modify, delete, or share your Google Analytics or Search Console information. Your data is used solely within your Visiblie account to generate insights and recommendations for your benefit.

1.4 AI Platform Monitoring Data

Our Service monitors publicly available AI-generated responses from platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and others to track brand mentions and visibility. This data is collected from publicly accessible sources and does not include private user conversations.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our AI visibility monitoring services
  • Process transactions and send related billing information
  • Generate visibility reports, analytics, and recommendations by combining AI platform data with your Google Analytics and Search Console data (when connected)

  • Provide personalized insights and actionable recommendations based on your integrated data sources
  • Send service updates, security alerts, and support messages
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support

Regarding Google User Data: All Google Analytics and Search Console data accessed through OAuth is used exclusively to provide our core service functionality—creating a holistic view of your brand's visibility and generating data-driven recommendations. We do not use this data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to improving your experience within the Visiblie platform.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist in operating our Service (hosting, payment processing, analytics).
