Visiblie helps brands own their visibility in AI search - from ChatGPT to multimodal engines, to emerging conversational and agentic interfaces. As AI increasingly becomes the first place people search, brands need content that’s structured, extractable, and technically sound. We are already validated: we're in-market with paying customers and experiencing strong demand for our SaaS platform. Now, we are looking for a AI Agent and Data Platform Engineer to own the critical services powering our AI-first product - from ingesting and processing vast datasets to deploying the next generation of AI agents. You will work closely with the Founding Full-Stack Engineer and technical Co-Founder to scale the platform into hypergrowth.
🚀 Your Mission
This is a pivotal, high-impact role focused on the core intelligence and data infrastructure of the Visiblie platform.
Design & Build AI Agents: Own the architecture, development, and deployment of our AI agents, utilizing modern frameworks and best practices for reliable and efficient agent workflows.
Scale Data Pipelines: Take existing data scripts and processing logic, refactor them, and productionize them into scalable, robust, and observable data pipelines on AWS.
Own AWS Data Infrastructure: Architect and manage the cloud infrastructure dedicated to data ingestion, storage, processing, and serving (e.g., S3, ECS, Lambda, Data Lake/Warehouse).
Collaborate on Backend Services: Work closely with the Founding Full-Stack Engineer on API design and data access patterns, ensuring high-performance services and clean integration between the platform backend and the data/AI layer.
Establish Data Observability: Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting for all data pipelines and agent systems to ensure data quality and system reliability.
Contribute to Engineering Culture: Help shape the engineering culture, data standards, and technical direction from day zero.

⚙️ Core Technical Expertise
Expert in Agent Architecture: You have production experience building and deploying AI Agents (e.g., using Python/LangChain, or similar orchestration frameworks) and understand the nuances of prompt engineering and tool usage.
Strong Data Engineering Chops: You excel at designing, building, and optimizing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for complex data processing needs.
Deep AWS Data Services Experience: You have serious, hands-on experience with AWS services essential for data workloads (e.g., S3, Glue, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, Aurora/RDS).
Backend Fluency (TS/Node.js/Python): Python (for data processing/AI tasks). TypeScript/Node.js is a plus.
Data Modeling Mastery: You excel at robust schema design for both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational data stores.
🚀 Deployment & Delivery (DevOps Chops)
Infrastructure Ownership: You are proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (CDK, Terraform, or similar) to manage production data environments on AWS.
Container & Orchestration Comfort: You have experience containerizing (Docker) and orchestrating data workloads (ECS Fargate, or Kubernetes).
Reliability Mindset: You are prepared to own the initial setup and maintenance of observability, monitoring, and reliability systems for data and AI components.

Option 1: Full-Time Engineer
We’re flexible on how we work together, as long as we’re aligned on building something big. This path is designed for a long-term partnership with standard vesting.
Phase 1: Initial 2-Month Paid Engagement (Contract Gig)
We will start with a short-term, paid engagement to test our working relationship:
Duration: 2 months
Compensation: ~$1K–$3K/month
Phase 2: Full-Time Commitment & Founding Package
If we are aligned at the end of the 2-month engagement, we will extend a full-time offer with the Engineer package:
Cash: ~$2K–$5K/month (depending on experience & fit)
Equity: 1–3% with standard vesting
Signing Bonus: The difference between the 2-month engagement rate and your agreed-upon full-time salary will be paid to you as a signing bonus for joining us full-time.
Option 2: Short-Term, High-Impact Project with Immediate Equity Vesting
This option is for those who prefer a focused, short-term engagement tied to major company milestones.
Agreed Scope: We define a sharp, high-leverage project tied directly to our next funding round and ARR target (e.g., concentrated backend/infra + product delivery milestone).
Outcome-Based Vesting: If we successfully hit the agreed targets and close the next funding round, your equity vests immediately according to the agreed-upon upfront percentage.
Next Steps: Following the milestone success, we can either convert the role into the Full-Time Engineer package or continue collaborating in a way that fits both parties.
